JW steps down as EYEBALLERS CEO to focus on playing
Jesper "JW" Wecksell, the co-founder of the Swedish esports club EYEBALLERS, has temporarily handed over his duties as CEO of the organization to Nicklas "nicke111" Andersson. The Swede himself will focus on competing in the role of in-game leader of the Counter-Strike 2 squad. EYEBALLERS announced this via its X social media account.

All organizational, sports and commercial matters will now be handled by Acting CEO Nicklas “nicke111” Andersson, currently Head of Partnerships at Black Molly Entertainment AB and been a driving force behind EYEBALLERS since its relaunch 2022
This decision comes as JW has decided to fully focus on his roles as Team Captain and IGL for our CS-team.
Earlier this month, EYEBALLERS revealed a change in its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The team's coach Kevin "Kevve" Bohlin departed the team. The vacant position in the lineup was filled by Faruk "pita" Pita, who previously worked with 00Nation, Dignitas, CPH Flames and other squads. EYEBALLERS currently occupies 89th place in HLTV ranking.
