BIG unveils two new players

German esports club BIG has announced two new members of its Counter-Strike 2 roster – Marcel "hyped" Köhn and Can "kyuubii" Ali. The statement was published on the organization's X social media account.

hyped's previous team was ALTERNATE aTTaX – he competed for them from February to December of last year under a loan deal with BIG; before that, the German spent over six months at the BIG academy roster. kyuubii, in turn, represented fnatic from November 2023 to May 2024, after which the organization put him on the bench, where he remains to this day.

The rookies replaced Florian "syrsoN" Rische and Rigon "rigoN" Gashi – both players departed the squad in December of last year. syrsoN was benched, while rigoN became a free agent.

Note that BIG placed 15th-16th at the recent Counter-Strike 2 Major in Shanghai, having been eliminated from the tournament in the Elimination Stage. The roster earned $20,000 in prize money. The team currently occupies 21st place in HLTV ranking.
