Official: NiKo joins Falcons

Saudi esports club Falcons has officially announced a new addition to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: one of the most decorated players on the pro scene, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, has become the team's newest member.

The 27-year-old Bosnian esports athletes has represented G2 for the past four years; the German organization has confirmed NiKo's departure from the squad. Over the course of his career as a pro CS player, Kovač has earned $1.6 million in prize money. Nikola's average rating over the past three months is 1.14 (in 32 maps).

At the moment, the Falcons roster, in addition to NiKo, includes two more people: Emil "Magisk" Reif and coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen. According to rumors, three HEROIC players will fill the vacant positions in the lineup: Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski, Abdul "degster" Gasanov, and René "TeSeS" Madsen. Due to this transfer, Falcons will rise to eighth place in Valve's official ranking and will be able to receive direct invites to all big tournaments in early 2025.

Note that in 2024, Falcons failed to win a single LAN event. The team also missed the Shanghai Counter-Strike 2 Major. Today, Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer departed the club.

 Falcons are now:

 Nikola "NiKo" Kovač

 Danny "zonic" Sørensen (coach)
