HooXi reveals date when he will enter free agency

Former G2's IGL Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen announced that he will become a free agent on January 1, 2025. The player is still looking for a team for the next Counter-Strike 2 competitive season.

"I'm still looking for a new team! I'm open to all offers, the most important aspect is an interesting roster with strong potential!" – the 29-year-old Danish esports athlete wrote via his X social media account.

Nilsen recently shared his plans for the future with fans, and also summed up his experience competing for G2. The Dane noted that the long break was good for him, and he is ready to return to competing in CS2.

Note that HooXi represented G2 from August 2022 to July 2024, after which the organization benched him and singed Janusz "⁠Snax⁠" Pogorzelski in his place. Since then, Nielsen has been on G2's bench and has not competed on the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene.
