Vitality and Liquid advance to BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 playoffs

The first playday of the big LAN tournament BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024, which is currently taking place in Denmark, has ended. Both Vitality and Liquid are now one step away from advancing to the playoffs from the first place in the group.

Dan "apEX" Madesclaire's team defeated Astralis in their debut match at the event (13:0 on Inferno, 13:4 on Dust2), while the Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken-led roster prevailed over Team Spirit (3:13 on Dust2, 13:11 on Nuke, 13:10 on Anubis). The losing teams will face off in an elimination match tomorrow, while the winners will fight for a spot in the top 4 of the tournament.

Note that BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 is taking place from September 25 to 29 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The competition features a total prize pool of $425,000 – it will be divided among eight squads. The winner will also secure a slot at BLAST Premier World Final 2024.
