Participants of qualifiers and RMRs for Shanghai CS2 Major revealed

HLTV has unveiled a list of teams invited to the RMRs and closed qualifiers based on Valve's official ranking. The developers themselves confirmed that yesterday's update of the ranking was the final one before issuing invites to the qualifiers for the upcoming Shanghai Counter-Strike 2 Major.

Valve also clarified that clubs are prohibited from fielding two rosters at the same time, even if they are playing in different regions or different stages of the qualifiers. This rule, for example, affects the Brazilian organization Imperial: the club's women's roster will not be able to compete in the closed European qualifier, since the main roster will already be fighting in the Americas RMR.

Note that the open qualifiers for RMR Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will only take place in Asia. In the European and American regions, the organizers will only hold closed competitions.

Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will be held from November 30 to December 15 in Shanghai, China. The tournament will feature a total prize pool of $1.25 million, which will be divided among 24 squads.
