Talon returns to CS pro Scene – AZR headed new roster

Hong Kong esports club Talon has returned to the Counter-Strike pro scene with a new roster. The organization officially announced this via its X social media account.

The squad is led by the award-winning Australian player Aaron "AZR" Ward, who had been inactive for over a year – in April 2023, he was removed from the Sprout roster.

The starting five also includes Corey "nettik" Browne, Jared "hazr" O'Bree, Christian "ADDICT" Pendleton, and AWPer Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak. The roster's coach is Daniel "djL" Narancic, who previously worked with NIP.

Note that Talon opened a Counter-Strike division back in 2017. In 2018, the organization disbanded the team, which consisted entirely of Taiwanese esports athletes, and left the discipline.

The debut of the newly assembled roster will take place on August 4 at the HellCase Cup 10 online tournament – Talon will face TSM.

Talon's new roster looks as follows:

 Christian "ADDICT" Pendleton
 Jared "hazr" O'Bree
 Aaron "AZR" Ward
 Corey "nettik" Browne
 Miłosz "mhL " Knasiak

 Daniel "djL" Narancic (coach)
