Alliance benches robiin – team in search of new IGL

Swedish esports club Alliance has decided to replace the in-game leader of its Counter-Strike 2 roster. Robin "robiin" Sjögren departed the team's starting five – Alliance benched him.

Dust2 Sweden reported this citing Alliance's representatives. However, the organization itself has not publicly announced the roster change yet.

robiin has represented Alliance since last September. It is still unknown who will fill the vacant position in the squad. According to the club manager, the team is currently trialing different candidates.

On July 24, Alliance will kick off its journey at a small online tournament, Betera Vibe City, with a prize pool of $12,000. By that time, the club had promised to unveil a stand-in who would compete instead of Sjögren.

 Alliance are now:

 Jonathan "b0denmaster" Bodenmalm
 Niclas "PlesseN" Plessen
 Arvid "avid" Åberg
 Simon "twist" Eliasson

 Simon "Hawk" Vävinggren (coach)
