M80 to replace NRG at BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024

North American team NRG will not be able to compete at the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 tournament. The event organizers announced this via their X social media account.

According to the official announcement, the rosters will miss the competition due to closed qualifiers for the Shanghai Major, which in the American region will kick off the day after the end of the BLAST event.

The vacant spot at BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 went to M80, which placed second in the regional qualifiers (NRG won the competition).

BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 will be held online from August 21 to 25 with the participation of 16 teams. The event will feature a prize pool of $135,000. Closed qualifiers for Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 in America are scheduled for August 26 to 28.
