JiJieHao signs Kjaerbye and dennyslaw

Chinese esports club JiJieHao has strengthened its roster with two European players for the upcoming Esports World Cup 2024 in Saudi Arabia. The new members of the team are Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye and Denislav "dennyslaw" Dimitrov. HLTV reported this citing the representatives of the organization.

Kjaerbye helped the squad to have a successful run in the qualifier for the aforementioned tournament as a stand-in. A few months earlier, the Dane failed to qualify for the Copenhagen Major through open qualifiers. Before this, Kjaerbye was inactive for more than a year and a half (after departing Endpoint).

The esports athlete from Bulgaria replaced Love "phzy" Smidebrant, who also competed as a stand-in for JiJieHao at the Esports World Cup 2024 qualifier. Previously, dennyslaw represented 500 and SKADE. phzy, in turn, may become Wildcard's rookie.

Esports World Cup 2024 will be held from July 17 to 21 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. 15 teams will participate in the competition – full team list can be found via the link.
