Invites to closed qualifiers for RMRs to be issued in early August

Organizers of this year's second Counter-Strike 2 Major have announced the date when participants of the closed qualifiers for RMR tournaments will be determined. The deadline is set for August 7. Tournament operator Perfect World reported this via its X social media account.

Note that open qualifiers for Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 RMRs will be held only in Asia. In other regions, participants of the closed qualifiers will be determined based on Valve's official rating. Accordingly, rosters have less than two months to strengthen their positions in the ranking.

A couple of days ago, Valve revealed an updated ranking of world's best teams in Counter-Strike 2. MOUZ still occupies first place in it, while The MongolZ rose to No. 6.

Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will take place from November 30 to December 15 in Shanghai, China. RMR tournaments will be held in the same city from November 11 to 24. Closed qualifiers are scheduled to play out from August 21 to 30.
