Rumors: HeavyGod to join Cloud9

According to unofficial sources, OG's Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko will become one of the new players on Cloud9's Counter-Strike 2 roster. This was reported by insider Vlad "harumi" Radvilovich.

Team's IGL Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov responded to Radvilovich's statement. "Ah, insiders, insiders... How can they know better than us what we ourselves don't know", – Mikhailov told this via his Telegram channel.

Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov confirmed the rumor about the transfer of the Israeli esports athlete and also noted that there is no point to expect Cloud9 to reveal a fully completed roster earlier than July.

Cloud9 will be rounding out the roster at least until July. HeavyGod is a good option, better than half of those on the shortlist.

Insider, streamer and GenOne's owner Sebastien "KRL" Perez claimed that Cloud9 paid OG half a million dollars for Martynenko's transfer.

At the same time, HeavyGod himself, after all the rumors, stated the following via the X social media: "Feels great to shock everyone with the news that I am gonna awp in my future".

Note that the North American club is currently forming a new CS2 roster. According to rumors, besides HeavyGod, Daniel "syph0" Ageyev (Team Spirit Academy), Danil "danistzz" Roslyakov (Space) and Nicolas "Keoz" Dgus (GamerLegion) are also trialing out for the team.
