iNation suspends its activities

Serbian esports club iNation announced its exit from the professional Counter-Strike 2 scene. All team players have become free agents. The announcement was published via its social media accounts.

The organization's management cites the recent statement regarding the Major and RMR tournaments as the main reason why this decision was made. It is likely referring the cancellation of open qualifiers for Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.

According to iNation's statement, the refusal from open qualifiers directly affects the financial structure of the team, as well as its ability to achieve the goals. The announcement also notes that iNation hopes to return to the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene in the future.

Last year, iNation passed through the open qualifier for BLAST Paris Major 2023 Europe RMR B, but failed to advance to the Major itself, disbanding the team in July. In April 2024, the club returned to the discipline with a new roster.

iNation's former lineup looks as follows:

 Luka "emi" Vuković
 Nikola "Dragon" Boskovic
 Luka "c0llins" Živanović
 Jane "aidKiT" Apostoloski
 Zoran "xicoz" Markovski

 Uroš "eRCEG" Erceg (coach)
