G2 to face 9z in IEM Dallas 2024 semi-finals

Nikola "NiKo" Kovač's squad became the last semi-finalist at IEM Dallas 2024. In the first round of the playoffs, G2 defeated FaZe with a scoreline of 2:1 – 13:8 on Dust2 and 13:2 on Nuke.

G2 advanced to the next round of the bracket, where on June 1 they will face 9z – the winner of this match will compete in the final against the strongest roster from the Team Spirit – Vitality matchup.

In turn, the Finn "karrigan" Andersen-led squad shared 5th-6th place at the tournament with HEROIC and earned $10,000 in prize money.

Note that IEM Dallas 2024 takes place from May 27 to June 2 in Dallas, USA. The event features a prize pool of $250,000. The winner will also receive an invite to IEM Cologne 2024.
