Maze departs ECSTATIC

Danish esports athlete Mikkel "Maze" Sparvath departed ECSTATIC's Counter-Strike 2 roster. The player himself announced via the X social media that he refused to sign a full-fledged contract with the club.

"My intuition tells me that this is not the team I need", – Maze explained his decision, wishing success to his former teammates and thanking the organization's management. It is still unknown who will take the vacant position on the ECSTATIC roster.

Maze joined ECSTATIC for a trial period on May 11 this year, when the club revealed its new CS2 lineup. The player filled the role of the team's IGL.

The esports athlete added that he is now a free agent and is ready to consider offers from international and Danish squads.

ECSTATIC are now:

 Anton "Anlelele" Huynh
 Kristoffer "kristou" Aamand
 Martin "nut nut" Holm Vestergaard
 Mikkel "n1Xen" Borlund (trial loan)
