OverDrive: degster replaces nicoodoz in HEROIC

Russian esports athlete Abdul "degster" Gasanov signed a contract with HEROIC. Insider Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov reported this via his social media accounts.

The rookie will fill the usual for him AWPer position, replacing Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi. According to the source, the Danish club hid the information about the replacement from its current player so that he would not deliberately spoil the team's performance at ESL Pro League Season 19.

Note that degster has been on OG's bench since June of last year and has not played a single official match during this period. A month ago, he announced that he would return to competing with a new team in the next few weeks.

HEROIC are currently in Malta, where they are participating in the current EPL season. The European squad are competing in the lower bracket of Group D, where they have to defeat NIP and the winner of the PERA – FlyQuest matchup in order to advance to the playoffs.

HEROIC's potential lineup looks as follows:

 René "TeSeS" Madsen
 Rasmus "sjuush" Beck
 Guy "NertZ" Iluz
Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski
Abdul "degster" Gasanov

 Eetu "sAw" Saha (coach)
