Team Secret terminates Maze's contract – player enters free agency

European esports club Team Secret has parted ways with Danish player Mikkel "Maze" Sparvath. Maze himself announced this via his social media accounts, explaining that the club's management terminated his contract and now he is a free agent.

Today I was informed that my contract is terminated. We didn't achieve the goals that we set for the team, so something had to happen. We tried a million different things to try and make things work with the lineup we had, but the countless hours and the hard work that I put into making solutions was not enough.

Team Secret has not yet officially revealed a replacement in its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The Dane carried out the duties of IGL on the team.

Maze has represented Team Secret since January of this year. Together with him, the squad did not achieve any significant results in recent tournaments. The esports athlete added that he is now actively searching for a new team, and is ready to consider offers for the role of an in-game leader.

 Secret are now:

 Vladan "Kind0" Mandic
 Sebastian "Tauson" Tauson Lindelof
 Guy "anarkez" Trachtman
 Filipe "NOPEEj" Dias

 Gustavo "Juve" Alexandre (coach)
