StarLadder returns to Counter-Srtike with StarSeries tournaments

Tournament operator StarLadder announced via its official website its return to the Counter-Strike pro scene. The Ukrainian company revealed four StarSeries events for 2025 and 2026.

The previous StarSeries season took place in 2019. In total, this series, which started in 2012, featured 18 top tier tournaments.

In a press release, StarLadder reported that the decision to return after a long break was facilitated by Valve's introduction of licensing for CS2 competitions, as well as the ban on partner leagues from 2025.

The schedule of the announced tournaments under the auspices of StarLadder looks as follows:

  • StarSeries Season 19 – May 26-June 1, 2025
  • StarSeries Season 20 – September 12-21, 2025
  • StarSeries Season 21 – May 25-31, 2026
  • StarSeries Season 22 – September 11-20, 2026

Note that PGL previously unveiled the expansion of its presence on the Counter-Strike pro scene. The Romanian tournament operator has announced 11 top tier tournaments for 2025 and 2026.
