Cloud9, HEROIC and Metizport kick off BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024 with victories

The matches of the first playday at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024 have ended. Falcons, Cloud9 and HEROIC had a successful start, and will continue the competition in the quarter-finals.

Cloud9 defeated the Chinese team Rare Atom (13:5 on Mirage and 13:11 on Anubis), HEROIC bested NIP, which fielded its youth roster (13 :6 on Vertigo and 16:14 on Mirage), while Metizport managed to take over Falcons with Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev in the lineup (9:13 on Mirage, 13:4 on Overpass and 13:11 on Vertigo).

Tomorrow, March 7, the tournament will continue with three more Round of 16 matches. The Liquid – SAW matchup will take place at 15:30 CET, a match between Complexity and OG is scheduled for 18:00 CET, while Monte and Imperial will fight at 20:30 CET.
