Blogg1s accuses Wings Up of salary arrears

Czech esports athlete Dominik "Blogg1s" Janita accused the Chinese organization Wings Up of non-payment of wages. The player has posted a corresponding statement via his Twitter account.

Wings Up owes us all the salaries, the only thing they paid was the flights to China," the statement reads. "After the IEM Closed Qualifier, they were supposed to pay for our hotel to meet them at CAC, but they said it would be better if Rasmus and I went back to the gaming office in Zhuzhou. From that point, we didn't see anyone again, and no one talked to us much.

After nine days, we got a message that all activities are canceled until the owner replies. After three more days, we found out they wanted to play with the Chinese lineup and that we could go home. No one even came to say goodbye or help us with anything.

We flew home on November 22 and were promised we would be paid in early December. Then at the end of December, then at the beginning of January. The final message was on January 21, when we were told Wings Up no longer exist.

Blogg1s became part of Wings Up along with Rasmus "kreaz" Johansson in early October. They competed for the team until December, departing the Chinese organization afterwards.

Note that the esports athletes played only a few matches for the club. At the same time, the players were unable to help the team at CS Asia Championships 2023, since Wings Up was forced to field the Chinese roster that participated in the qualifier for the tournament.
