Los Grandes announce Brazilian roster with JOTA

Brazilian club Los Grandes has announced via its social media accounts that it had signed a roster of local players. Jhonatan "JOTA" Willian became the team's headliner, joining it on loan from Imperial.

Fluxo's Allan "history" Lawrenz and Henrique "t9rnay" Menacho were also signed by Los Grandes on a loan deal. In turn, Leonardo "leo_drk" Oliveira was bought from Case, while Paulo "short" Ballardini has signed a contract as a free agent. The Brazilian five will be coached by Jhonatan "jnt" Silva, who will debut in this role.

Notably, the announced roster was initially associated with TeamOne. Since last year, both brands have been owned by the same organization and, according to its CEO Alexandre "kakaveL" Peres, the team will be represented on the Counter-Strike pro scene under the Los Grandes tag.

The new Brazilian team will play its first matches during the qualifying cycle for PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024. The first open qualifier for North America, where Los Grandes is based, will take place on January 8.

Los Grandes are now:

Jhonatan "JOTA" Willian
Allan "history" Lawrenz
Henrique "t9rnay" Menacho
Leonardo "leo_drk" Oliveira
Paulo "short" Ballardini

Jhonatan "jnt" Silva (coach)
