FaZe confirms Twistzz departure

Canadian esports athlete Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken is departing FaZe amid widespread reports from insiders about him moving to Liquid. The club confirmed the information about parting ways with the player via its social media accounts.

Van Dulken is expected to be announced as a member of Liquid's new lineup in the near future. He will join the project with Keith "NAF" Markovic, Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis, Casper "cadiaN" Møller and Felipe "skullz" Medeiros.

Note that Twistzz had previously competed for Liquid from 2017 to 2020 before moving to FaZe. Together with the European team, the Canadian won multiple tournaments, including a Major in Antwerp, as well as secured the Intel Grand Slam S4 award.

As of now, it is unknown who will fill the vacant position in FaZe. In just a week and a half, the roster will have to participate in the prestigious BLAST Premier World Final 2023 tournament.
