ESIC bans SENSEi and three other Ukrainian players for organizing match-fixes

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has suspended Dmitriy "SENSEi" Shvorak, Max "THRONE" Semenov, Artur "DarkS1DE" Kravchenko and Danylo "nat1ve" Bakin for two years for organizing match-fixes and betting violations.

Reportedly, all esports athletes are connected by competing for the Akuma, Project X and MAJESTY rosters. The commission was able to prove their engagement in match-fixing activities at LAN tournaments in the period from 2020 to 2021.

ESIC has decided that for the duration of the suspension, SENSEi, THRONE, DarkS1DE and nat1ve are banned from participating in any tournaments from the Commission's partners. The corresponding notices were sent out to the players on October 24, 2023.

A little earlier, ESIC also suspended Turkish esports athlete Burak "Monkeylay" Can Turunç and Swedish GODSENT's former player Joel "joel" Holmlund for two years. They were charged with betting against their teams.
