dav1g returns to Movistar Riders as IGL

Spanish club Movistar Riders has officially confirmed the return of David "dav1g" Granado Bermudo. The 22-year-old esports athlete became the new in-game leader of the roster, replacing Alejandro "alex" Masanet, who moved to NIP.

dav1g competed for Movistar Riders from August 2021 to July 2023. Last summer, the Spaniard was excluded from the starting five, while Adam "adamS" Marian was signed to replace him.

dav1g's previous team was Project G, which he joined at the end of October. However, the player recently departed it.

The 22-year-old Spaniard's first match after returning to the team will take place tomorrow, November 7. Movistar Riders will face FORZE at ESL Challenger League Season 46 Europe.
