NRG exploring lineup options for return to pro scene

North American club NRG intends to return to the professional Counter-Strike scene, which it left in 2019. Representatives of the organization shared this information with HLTV.org.

NRG management said that it had already decided on the preferred roster's core. At the same time, the terms of contracts have not yet been discussed with the players whose names are unknown.

NRG was represented on the competitive CS scene from 2016 to 2019. During this time, the team's best achievements were the IEM Shanghai 2018 title and reaching the semi-finals of StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.

The US organization left the pro scene in the fall of 2019, when Evil Geniuses bought out its roster consisting of Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte, Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov, Ethan "Ethan" Arnold, Tarik "tarik" Celik and Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz. According to insider Guillaume "neL" Ratier, EG paid $3 million for the transfer.
